2020 HEA Scholarship

The Holbrook Education Association is offering two scholarship this year to Seniors who will be attend a college after they graduate this year.  Click here to view and fill out the application form.

The Tony Munoz/Dan Koury Memorial Scholarship  
Tony Munoz and Dan Koury were both educators in the Holbrook School District. They were also dedicated Knights of Columbus members that dedicated themselves to service to the church, students, and the community. The Tony Munoz/Dan Koury Memorial Scholarship is given each year to qualifying Seniors that have shown dedication, service, and promise in going to college and furthering their education. Preference is given to those that are seeking a degree in the field of education.

2019 El Dabe Ritter Scholarship

This scholarship is now available to any high school senior in the United States that desires to apply. More information  can be found on our scholarship application below:

Scholarships Delta Kappa Gamma Society of Holbrook Scholarship
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society of Holbrook is offering a grant in aid $300 to a female senior who is planning on going into education or another helping profession. Interested students need to contact Mrs. Warner to get a copy of the topic of the 500-word essay that will be requested. Essay Topic-Why do you want to become an educator? (or) Why do you want to work in a profession that helps people? Keep this opportunity in mind as it will open up in March. Email Mrs. Warner for more information.

Personal Achievement College Scholarship
3 - $15,000 awards available, Student Research Foundation is offering
high school students up to $15,000. The scholarship is open to all high school students who are legal residents. Applicants must describe a personal achievement story, determine and explain instances of struggle or adversity and display how they overcame adversity to reach their goals. Applicants will be required to complete an application and write a short essay. View scholarship here.

10 Words or Less Scholarship
1 - $500 award available. This scholarship is open to anyone who is between the ages of 14 and 25 who will be attending school in the Fall of 2019. To enter, go to and place a comment on any post you see answering the question: “In 10 words or less, tell us why you deserve the $500 scholarship”. You must also “Like” our Facebook page. Please note that we will only read the answers provided from people that have “liked” our page. View scholarship here.

Nursing Scholarships
Do you want to become a nurse? You don’t have to let the cost of education get in the way
of your dream. There are scholarships available in many areas of nursing, and for all types of people, with special scholarships for LGBTQ, men in nursing and much more. View scholarship here.

Got a Spine Scholarship
Value - $500 1 Award available 
Deadline – June 2, 2019 Eligible students will be attending a college or university by October 2020, have a GPA of 2.5 or better and have submitted answers to the essay questions no later than 11:59 PM EST on. View scholarship here.

Arizona Elk Society Scholarships
If you are an Elk hunter and a member of the Arizona Elk Society. They have two scholarships available to seniors - $750 and $1000. Go to the website for more information and to fill out the form. View scholarship here.

Arizona Foundation Scholarship Portal
The scholarship portal at the Arizona foundation is now open. The Arizona
Community Foundation is the state’s largest private provider of college scholarships, awarding millions of dollars annually to help students achieve their educational goals. Students can receive awards for all types of degrees: 2- year, 4-year and technical schools. Deadlines for some programs are in March, others as late as May. View scholarship here.

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program is for high school seniors who demonstrate Leadership, Drive, Integrity and Citizenship. The scholarship offers up to $40,000 per scholar. The education program included a week-long intensive leadership camp, and a summer or semester internship. View scholarship here.

ASU Leadership Scholarship
ASU has opened up their Leadership scholarship. If you are interested in attending ASU next year, Mrs. Warner is allowed to nominate students for inclusion in this program. The application is found here.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded student with a desire to make positive change in the world. The candidate should have participated in and/or hosted volunteer and community service programs. The value of this scholarship is $40,000 over 4 years.

College and high school students will write many academic essays throughout the course of their education, which helps to inform them about specific topics and sharpen the writing skills they need. Wendy’s® High School Heisman® Scholarship
Since 1994, the Wendy’s® High School Heisman® Scholarship has been recognizing and rewarding senior athletes who excel in the classroom, on the field, and in the community.
This year, they are awarding over $60,000 in college scholarships. 100 Scholarship Winners. Two from Every State. The Wendy’s High School Heisman recognizes two winners—one male athlete and one female athlete—from each state. 90 State Winners receive a $500 scholarship, Eight National Finalists receive a $1,000 scholarship and two National Winners receive a $5,000 scholarship along with national honor and recognition during ESPN’s telecast of the college Heisman Memorial Trophy presentation. Are you interested in attending NAU next year?
There are three documents located on the Scholarship page that pertain to anyone who plans on attending NAU next year. The “NAU Information Sheet 19-20” has general application cost of attendance and department contact content. The “Important Dates, Fall 19” and “AZ Scholarship Criteria 19-20” contains specialized updates for next fall’s incoming first year students.
