Procedure Expectations
Welcome to Park & Hulet – Important Information for Families
Dear Families,
As we begin a new school year, we want to ensure a smooth transition for all students. Please review the following key procedures and expectations:
Arrival & Breakfast
Doors Open: 7:40 AM
Breakfast Served: Until 8:05 AM
To take advantage of school breakfast, please ensure your child arrives early enough to eat before instruction begins.
School Start Time & Attendance
Instruction Begins Promptly: 8:10 AM
Consistent attendance and punctuality are vital to your child’s academic success. Please make every effort to arrive on time each day.
Reporting Absences
If your child will be absent, notify the office as early as possible with the reason. For medical absences, a doctor’s note is required for the absence to be excused.
Lunch Guidelines
Lunch is a high-traffic time with limited space.
Families are welcome to join students for lunch on birthdays or during school-wide family lunch events.
If bringing lunch for your child, please drop it off at least 10 minutes before their lunch period begins. We cannot guarantee we can page students once they are in the cafeteria.
No food deliveries (e.g., DoorDash, UberEats) are permitted for students.
For student safety, food sharing is not allowed due to allergies and health concerns.
Dismissal & Transportation
Notify the office before 2:00 PM for any changes to your child’s transportation. Changes after this time cannot be accommodated.
Pick-up families will receive a car sign for your window. Please stay in the designated pick-up line and follow the traffic flow.
Do not park across the street or in unauthorized areas—this poses a safety risk during busy dismissal times.
Medication Policy
Our nurse does not administer ibuprofen, Tums, Tylenol, or Benadryl. If needed, a parent or guardian must bring and administer the medication to the child at school.
Communication & Safety
The safety and well-being of our students is our highest priority. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please contact the school office directly. We value your partnership and input.
We look forward to a safe, successful, and joyful year with your children. Your cooperation with these procedures helps ensure that all students have a positive experience.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Tow
