Greetings Parents and Guardians of Hulet and Park Elementary Schools! On Monday, April 8th, there will be a solar eclipse that will occur between 10 am to 1 pm. Park and Hulet Elementary School will remain in session but will modify school schedules to remain indoors during the eclipse from 10 am to 1 pm and will modify lunch schedules to accommodate food service times. If your child will be absent due to the cultural significance of the eclipse, please notify your child’s school and it will be considered an excused absence. Greetings Parents and Guardians! On Monday, April 8th, Holbrook Junior High School and Holbrook High School will be on an ITM day in recognition of the solar eclipse that will occur that day. To recognize cultural sensitivity, staffing and safety including passing periods and lunch periods, HJHS and HHS will be conducting virtual learning activities on Monday, April 8th. A reminder that students will need to complete their assignments to be verified that they are marked present for the day. If they do not complete their assignments they will be marked absent. We wanted to get this information out ahead of time to help students and families prepare. We appreciate your flexibility in this matter and thank you for being Roadrunners!

The Holbrook School District hosted our second CAFE (Community And Family Engagement) meeting with the Holbrook Mayor, County Supervisor Peshlakai, Holbrook Chamber representatives, Navajo County representatives, school leaders, parents, students and community-service organizations on Tuesday to discuss ways to continue to build community and family engagement at HUSD #3 and within our communities! Some great ideas were generated for "Love Our Communities" Day that will be coming up this spring.
