Popsicles with the Principal
Good afternoon,

We are excited to announce our Attendance Champions for the week of April 6th through April 10th!

Congratulations to:

Park School’s first-time winner: Mrs. Sanchez’s 1st grade class
Hulet School’s first-time winner: Mrs. Moyte's 2nd grade class

We are so proud of these students for showing up on time and doing their best to be present and ready to learn each day—especially during this important time of year with end-of-year assessments underway.

We also recognize that illnesses are going around. Please remember that if your child is sick, they should stay home to rest and recover. However, when students are feeling well, it is very important that they are at school every day and on time so they can take full advantage of learning opportunities.

Congratulations again to our champions, and thank you to all of our families for supporting strong attendance!

This will be a fun-filled evening focused on building math skills while spending quality time together as a family. Students in kindergarten through 5th grade and their families are invited to join us for a variety of engaging activities.

During the evening, you can:

Play interactive math games with your child
Take home fun math activities to continue learning at home
Visit booths hosted by local businesses and community members
Participate in estimation jar activities for a chance to win prizes

We are excited to celebrate our first-time Attendance Champions for the week of February 16th–20th!

šŸ† Park School: Mrs. Reid’s Kindergarten Class

Congratulations to these amazing students and teachers for showing up, being on time, and making attendance a priority! We are so proud of your commitment to learning.

A big THANK YOU to all of our students and families who are working hard to maintain strong attendance. Remember, great attendance means:
āœ”ļø Being at school every day
āœ”ļø Arriving on time
āœ”ļø Heading straight to class after breakfast

We know that sometimes students take a little too long at breakfast and end up tardy. We’ve been working hard to improve this, and we appreciate everyone’s effort in helping students get to class on time and ready to learn.

Keep up the great work, Roadrunners! Every day counts, and every minute matters!

Mrs. Analla’s class recently wrote letters to the Holbrook Fire Department that were delivered by Navajo County Sheriff’s Pony Express—what an incredible experience for our students!

The student letters invited the Holbrook Fire Department to come have lunch with them… and they said YES! On Friday, February 20th, some of our amazing firefighters joined our students for pizza and even brought their fire truck for the students to see up close. šŸš’ The smiles, questions, and conversations made it such a memorable day for everyone involved.

It has been wonderful to see the positive response from our local businesses and organizations who received letters through the letter writing experience. The engagement and connection between our school and our community truly reflect what makes Holbrook so special.

We are so grateful for all of our local businesses who continue to support and engage with our students. When schools and communities work together, amazing things happen! ā¤ļø

🌈 Mark Your Calendars — Kindness Week Is Coming! 🌈
šŸ“… February 16–February 20

Get ready to sprinkle kindness like confetti! šŸ’« During Kindness Week (2/16–2/20), we invite everyone to show kindness every single day—through your words, your actions, and yes… even your outfits! šŸ‘•āœØ

We’ll be dressing up all week long, spreading cheer, lifting each other up, and reminding one another just how powerful a little kindness can be. From smiles in the hallway to helping hands and positive words, every act—big or small—matters. šŸ’™

🐾 Pennies for Puppies 🐾
Kindness doesn’t stop with people! From February 9–27, we will be collecting Pennies for Puppies to help support our local animal shelter. Bring your spare change—pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters… anything helps! Every coin adds up and makes a big difference for animals in need. 🐶🐱

Let’s come together to make our school a place where kindness shines, joy is shared, and everyone feels seen and valued—both in our community and beyond.

šŸ’• Be kind. Dress kind. Spread kindness everywhere. šŸ’•
