Dear Hulet Families,
Welcome to another great school year! I’m so honored to be a part of the Hulet Roadrunner family. The 2018-2019 school year brought a lot of success for our Hulet students. Each grade-level achieved at high levels and we continue to make strides and growth to be the best school in the west.
We are continuing our implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports or PBIS for short. This is a framework that promotes respect, responsibility, safety, and kindness. As believers in the PBIS philosophy, we strive to teach, recognize, and acknowledge positive behavior more often than negative behavior. This can be done informally, with a quick smile or thank you, or more formally with a Beep Beeper which can be redeemed for a prize. There are many similarities to what you may have experienced at Holbrook Junior High School or Park Elementary School in our implementation of PBIS.
I welcome you to Hulet Elementary at any time. Please don't hesitate to make an appointment with my secretary, Traci Lewis if you would like to meet with me. I'm always open to suggestions to make Hulet a better place!
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
Kevin Fosburgh, Principal
