ITM Materials

Instructions and expectations for students and teachers during inclement weather situations when in-person attendance is impossible. ITM (Instructional Time Model) allows for continuity in education while ensuring the safety of all involved. ITM days are utilized when weather conditions make the roads impassable, and no snow days are built into the school calendar. Instead of canceling school, ITM days enable students and teachers to work from home.

ITM Schoolwork Box/Bag

  • The ITM box and folders contain all the necessary materials for students to complete their work at home.

  • Students should not open the ITM boxes or complete any work unless they receive a school message from Ms. Tomlin announcing an ITM day.

Google Classroom

  •  If students can access the Internet and Google Classroom, the online assignments will be the same as the ones in the ITM box.

Attendance

  • To be marked as present for an ITM day, students must complete the work in the ITM folders following the number of ITM days and return it to the school no later than two days after the ITM day.

1 ITM day = Day 1 ITM folder                 2 ITM days = Day 1 and Day 2 ITM folder etc.

Folders

  • Each student's ITM box contains four folders labeled ITM Day 1, ITM Day 2, ITM Day 3, and ITM Day 4. The assignment in the ITM Day 1 folder should be completed in case the school is closed for one day. Students should return that folder within two days to be marked present.

Preparedness for Up to 4 Days: Teachers have planned up to 4 days of ITM for the winter. If more ITM days are needed, additional ITM folders will be sent home to be added to the ITM boxes.
