Greetings Community Members, Businesses, and HUSD #3 Stakeholders- On April 23rd HUSD #3, in coordination with the City of Holbrook and the Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting our first Love Our Community Event at Holbrook High School. We are excited to bring together students, parents, staff, businesses and community partners to show our love for our communities and share the good things that our communities provide. We invite you to join us as a vendor, a business display, a presentation, or any other ideas you may have to enhance our Love Our Community event. We hope you will join us to celebrate our schools and communities! Who: All school and community stakeholders are invited. What: A Love Our Community event to bring together stakeholders and community members to share ideas, promote businesses, and celebrate our community assets. Greetings, IWE Parents and Guardians, This month, we are celebrating Kindness Month with a school-wide focus on the power of kindness in our daily lives. Students are learning about the different types of bullying and the difference between bullying and unkind behavior. Through discussions and activities, we are reinforcing the message of "Be Kind" and recognizing the positive impact of kindness on our school community. We encourage you to continue these conversations at home by celebrating acts of kindness with your child. Join us in a Kindness Challenge by encouraging your child to do one kind act each day and talk about how it made them feel.

HUSD got into the holiday spirit this past weekend with IWES and Park Elementary participating in the Festival of Trees and parade! HUSD will begin winter break Monday, December 23rd and will return to school on Monday, January 6th! Happy Holidays Roadrunners!

The HUSD #3 JOM program will host a JOM Parent Meeting at 5 pm on December 11th at Indian Wells Elementary School. Please attend if you can to learn more about the HUSD #3 JOM goals and outcomes.

Dear Parents and Guardians, Festival of Trees School-Wide Project Theme: Light Your Way to Indian Wells We invite you to help create an ornament to be added to our tree for the Festival of Trees! Please ensure that each ornament includes the student's name and grade level. All ornaments must be submitted to Miss Lewis by December 11 at 3:30 PM. HUSD Roadrunners Bernice Gover and Chris Ervin participated in the Northern Arizona University Institute for Native-serving Educators (INE) this year which concluded today with presentations of their curriculum guides and leadership practice guides.
