Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are thrilled to inform you that IWES will be holding its first quarter parent-teacher conferences on October 5th, 2023. Classroom teachers will schedule the conferences individually between 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
Please note that on Thursday, October 5th, students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM due to the half-day schedule. Buses will depart from IWES at that time.
Lastly, we would like to remind you that Fall Break will commence on Monday, October 9, and classes will resume on Monday, October 16th.

Reminder: Please join us for a SiiHasin Bike Trail event on Friday, September 22nd from 4 pm to 6 pm at the SiiHasin Bike Trail located at Indian Wells Elementary School. This will be a great opportunity to ride the trail, learn about bike safety and riding techniques; as well as, engage in open trail riding! This event is brought to you by HUSD #3 and Yazh Trailz. Some bikes will be available for riding if you do not have one but bring your own if you do!

We are pleased to inform you that we will be hosting our Parent Reading Night tonight September 7th, from 4:30-6:30. Kindly note that due to this event, all students will be traveling home on the regular bus route at 3:30. Please be advised that there will be no after-school sports practice today.

The SiiHasin (hope) Bike Trail is open for public use! It is located at Indian Wells Elementary School! Lots of hard work has gone into this project and we are pleased that it is ready for public use! Grab your bike and head out to the trail! Please ride carefully and obey all trail rules! Due to field conditions, all after-school sports practice will be canceled today, 8/24/2023. All students will be sent home on the regular bus routes today.

I apologize for the mix-up regarding the date of sports practice. Sports practice will begin on Monday, August 21st. If your child has completed all paperwork, they will stay after school for practice. Please ensure your child comes prepared with water and appropriate sports clothing. Friendly reminders to ensure a smooth school experience:
š Pick Up Required: Please remember to pick up your child at the bus stop. Their safety is our priority. It is required that PreK-2 students are picked up by a parent/guardian.
ā° Be Punctual: Please arrive at the bus stop at least 5 minutes early. This helps us maintain a timely schedule.
š Communicate Changes: If there are any changes to your child's bus arrangements, kindly inform the front office by 2 pm.
