Indian Wells Elementary school was alerted to a possible concern in the areas/communities serving IWES regarding people in a white van that may be engaging in unwanted communications with people in these communities.
As a result, HUSD 3 will heighten supervision protocols throughout the district which will require ALL STUDENTS ARE PICKED UP AND SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT AT BUS DROP OFFS.
Please be on time to pick up students from the bus. Students that are not picked up will be brought back to the respective schools and will need to be picked up by their parents.
At this time there have been no specific incidents pertaining to this matter that we have been made aware of; however, we wish to be proactive in our communications and protocols to ensure the safety of our students and communities.

The football game scheduled for today, 9/22/22, has been canceled due to mud and rain.
In addition, there will be no after-school practice today. Cross country, cheer, football, and volleyball are also canceled.
All students will ride the regular bus home at 3:30 today, 9/22.

If you signed your child up for a Chromebook during registration, the Chromebooks will be handed out to students in 3rd through 6th grade during school next week, September 19 through the 22nd.
All students grade PreK- 2nd grade will need to have the parent or guardian pick up the Chromebook from the school. The front office will be open for Chromebook pick up on September 19th through the 22nd from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Chromebooks for those that signed up during registration will also be available for pick up on October 6th during parent-teacher conferences.
Picture day for Indian Wells Elementary School is Wednesday, September 21st!

Park PT conferences are today, September 6th
Hulet PT conferences at tomorrow, September 7th
Park, Hulet, HJHS and HHS will host conferences on Thursday (1 pm - 4:30 pm and HHS and HJHS from 5:30 - 7:30 pm).
IWES will have conferences in October.
Friday, September 16th there will be no school. This was a day built into the HUSD #3 calendar this year!
