HJHS is excited to share: The AVID Center is conducting a case study on the AVID implementation journey that HJHS has been through, considering we started the AVID program the same year the Pandemic shut schools down. Even with challenges students and teachers faced we continued to implement AVID school-wide. Through our implementation commitment HJHS earned AVID Certified School Status.
~As part of the case study crew members from the AVID Center will be on campus Tuesday, March 7th filming and interviewing teachers and students in regards to AVID implementation, AVID strategies and how we use AVID at the junior high (ex: binders for organization, focused note taking in classes, student collaboration, etc...)
~We look forward to highlighting the Holbrook Junior High School and the journey our students and teachers have taken in implementing the AVID program schoolwide.
