HJHS & HUSD#3! Band Concert Tonight, May 17th at 6:00pm-GGPAC! Hulet Band, HJHS Band, HHS Band and the HHS Fusion will come together for their end of the year May Concert. We know it will be a musical experience you won't want to miss!

HJHS-IWES! HJHS hosted the Indian Wells Elementary School 6th graders for a fantastic Transition/Orientation Day today. Students toured the school, visited classes, got to have a Q & A session with some teachers and student council members, they had lunch with the HJHS students and even selected their elective choices for 7th grade! We are excited to see you in August...Welcome to HJHS!

HJHS will present their end of the year choir concert on Wednesday, May 18th at 7 pm at the George Gardner Performing Arts Center. We hope you can come watch our amazing performers!

HJHS! The HJHS final music concerts are this week! The band concert will be Tuesday, May 17th @ 6:00pm-HHS GGPAC (Auditorium) and the choir concert will be Wednesday, May 18th @ 6:00pm-HHS GGPAC (Auditorium). The HJHS band and choir students, along with Mr. Adams, have worked hard this year and we look forward to seeing all their hard work come together. We hope you will come out and support the HJHS music students as they share their final musical performances of the 2021-2022 SY.

Good evening! A reminder that there will be no school on Friday, May 13th as a makeup day that was not used during the school year. Teachers and students will not report to school on Friday. Have a great day off and we will look forward to seeing all students and staff back on Monday, May 16th!

HJHS! Just a reminder: If your child has a school/district issued Chromebook now is the time to return them (including the at-home issued devices). Parents can drop off the Chromebooks, Charger, and Case (if applicable) to the school office OR have your child bring it with them and we will get it from them when they arrive on campus. ALL Chromebooks need to be returned to HJHS by: Thursday, May 12th @ 4:00pm. The district will begin billing families on May 13th for any devices not returned. We appreciate the families of HJHS and we thank you for your prompt return of devices.

HJHS! HJHS is sending out a Shout Out and Good Luck to our very own Cody Thomas! Today, Cody is headed to the State Competition for the Special Olympics Games! Yesterday Cody says, “I’m ready Ms. Cheri”. We know you are! 🌟 Everyone at HJHS is cheering you on, Cody!!

HJHS! Chromebook Check-In! It is time for us to check in all student Chromebooks. HJHS! Things are getting real for our 8th graders! Today, the Holbrook High School welcomed our 8th graders for a special "Transition" morning. The 8th graders got to listen to advice from HS students and teachers. Their biggest advice: Get involved with clubs, sports, activities and stay on top of your schoolwork! Before touring the campus and visiting classrooms the 8th graders also learned the HHS Fight Song! GO ROADRUNNERS! Next Up: Promotion Activities! Now is the time the 8th graders need to stay focused to finish their 8th grade year strong!

HJHS! HJHS would like to send a Shout Out to Our Teachers! You are Appreciated for ALL YOU DO! Happy Teachers Appreciation Week (May 2-May 6).

HJHS 8th Graders! This is an exciting time for 8th grade students as the month of May is full of so many activities as they finish out their junior high years and get ready to head off to high school. Up First: 8th Grade to High School Transition Day is next week, Tuesday, May 3rd. Permission slips were sent home in P.A.S.S. Class. Students need to return the permission slip and be in good standing with their positive behavior points in order to attend.

HJHS! HJHS is going ALL IN with Positive Connections tomorrow, Friday, April 29th. Students and staff are encouraged to wear their ALL IN shirts as part of supporting positive interactions on campus. The P.A.S.S. Class with the highest % of shirt wearers will receive an instant doughnut party. Tomorrow is also class games. Will be a great day full of positive energy and fun. We hope to see all of our students coming to school ready to go "ALL IN with Positive Connections".

IWES BIKE TRAIL! Volunteers from Oregon to Colorado are helping construct a bike trail that IWES students, community members and bike enthusiasts can use! First of a kind! Thank you to everyone for making the bike trail a reality!!!

HJHS!! Saturday 4/23: Holbrook Community Clean Up! This is a great opportunity for HJHS students to go ALL IN with Positive Connections While Providing Community Service. In Addition, 50+ Positive Behavior Points Can Be Earned By Providing Service to the Community of Holbrook Along With Including Some Social Media Positivity. Ben Williams- Class of 2013! Benjamin Williams has accepted a PhD position at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC for the fall of 2022. Ben just received his Masters Degree in Neuroscience from BYU. Mr. & Mrs. Williams noted, “We couldn't be more proud and grateful he got such a great start at HUSD”! Way to go Benjamin! WHEN ONE ROADRUNNER SUCCEEDS, WE ALL SUCCEED!
