Greetings from HJHS: We are only one week away from the 2024-2025 School Year! A few announcements as you wrap up the last days of Summer Break~~
~~HJHS Open House is Wednesday, July 31st from 2:30pm-4:00pm. ~
~First Day of School is Thursday, August 1st!~
~7:55am-First Bell ~
~8:00am-School Day Begins ~
~Lunch: 6th Grade-11:55am; 7th/8th Grade-12:35pm ~
~3:35pm-School Day Ends ~
~School Supplies: Students will be provided a supply pouch with basic supplies (pencils, pens, eraser, highlighters) and an AVID binder for organization. If students prefer to get their own binder (3in or 4in) &/or additional supplies that is just fine.
~Refillable Water Bottles are HIGHLY Encouraged for students. ~
~Athletic Packet/Physicals: Fall Sports will begin on August 5th. Students need a completed athletic packet to participate. They can be picked up in the school office. ~
~Registration must be completed before students can start school....don't forget to register ASAP. ~
~Returning Students: Schedules are now viewable through Infinite Campus. ~
~We look forward to seeing our students soon.
School is about to start and it's still HOT outside which means proper hydration is even more important! 💦 HJHS will be scheduling intentional "Hydration Breaks" to ensure our students and staff are drinking enough water! 💦

Holbrook USD 3 uses a cell phone app to stay up-to-date with access to events, documents, news from administrators, student stories, specific school information and even emergency notifications. We have added "Rooms", the teacher-parent communication piece, to the app this year to make it easier to communicate with your child's teachers.

All Returning HUSD #3 Students: Parents, you can now complete the 2024-2025 school year registration online by visiting your Infinite Campus Parent Portal~

Lost and Found at HJHS! Is your child still missing a sweater, coat, shoes, or other personal belongings from this school year? If so, it could be sitting in the HJHS lost and found.
Last call to claim lost items. The office is open Mondays-Thursdays 7:30am-5:00pm (closed 12:30-1:00 for lunch) and open Fridays from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Please stop by HJHS and take a look before June 21st. Any unclaimed items will be donated after June 21st.

HJHS Spring Fling Sponsored by the HJHS Student Council is tomorrow, Monday, May 20th in the afternoon. We encourage comfortable shoes, clothing that may get wet, money for concessions, a water bottle and sunscreen &/or a hat.
*As a reminder, students need to be in "good standing" with their positive behavior points.
7th Graders are the 23-24 SY Class Games Champions and will receive a prize, as well as, a prize for Miss LaRose's PASS class for winning the kickball tournament.
It's sure to be a fun afternoon of celebrating the end of the 23-24 SY.
