Basketball Season at HJHS is Upon Us. The season will kick off with a scrimmage on Monday, December 18th against St. Johns. Girls will be away at St. Johns and the Boys will be at home (HJHS Gym). Games times: 4:00pm (6th/7th) and 5:00pm (8th).

Congratulations to all of the winners of the Holbrook Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot Contest with an extra SHOUT OUT and CONGRATULATIONS to our HJHS students: Julian Quezada-1st Place (10-11 Year Olds), Drayden Baldonado-1st Place (12-13 Year Olds), Payton Orton-1st Place (12-13 Year Olds) and Mackenzie Kescoli-3rd Place (12-13 Year Olds). These students will move on to the next round of competition to be held in Camp Verde on January 27th.

HJHS Robotics Team competed against other junior high schools in the Arizona Qualifying Tournament "FIRST LEGO League Challenge" in Flagstaff today.
Great job to our Robotic Roadrunners as they worked hard and earned the “Engineering Excellence”…First in Show Award! 🌟🤖

HJHS Volleyball playoffs kick off today (Tues. Dec. 5th) as the Roadrunners will host Canyon Day at home. Game starts at 2:30pm. GOOD LUCK and GO ROADRUNNERS!

The Holbrook Public Library is hosting "Native American Animal Songs and Dances-A Program for All Ages" tomorrow, Thursday, November 30th @ 6:00pm. This is a free program and everyone is welcome to attend.
HJHS Wrestlers traveled to Ganado to compete in a tournament today! Congratulations to the team on their 5th place finish! 🌟 HJHS top finishers... 💪Congratulations to: Roman Candaleria 1st place at 93lbs; Gideon Pack 3rd place at 98lbs; Hayden Eisele 4th place at 104lbs; Jack Carbboneau 3rd place at 111lbs; Eli Natoni 2nd place at 118lbs; and Victor Bazan 3rd place at 167lbs. These students participated in the White Mountain Junior High Regional Honors Music Festival. They spent the day with several other junior high students practicing, learning, growing and then came together for a night of magnificent musical performances in band and choir.
WOW! These Roadrunners shined brightly. HJHS is so proud of them for their hard work and commitment to their musical growth.
A big thank you to Mrs. Chantelle Taylor for encouraging and leading all of the HJHS choir and band students. Way to go Roadrunners!
HJHS! How cool is this? Roadrunner 2.0...Next Level Fitness Opportunities!
We have been planning and preparing for this...The HJHS outdoor fitness area is being installed.
The students are excited to see the equipment going in and are looking forward to being able to increase their physical fitness capacity through outdoor workouts or simply through targeted stretches. Beginner or more advanced, it will not matter. All of our students will be able to make use of and benefit from our new equipment if they so choose.
We can't wait to see the students enjoying this addition to HJHS!

Congratulations to Ariel Begay as she placed 10th out of 120 runners during the State Cross Country Championships over the weekend. Ariel ran her best time coming in at 10:55 for 2 miles. Great job, Ariel!
Good work throughout the season by all of the HJHS runners and a special thank you to Coach Baloo for training with and leading our junior high runners to Next Level Success as they continued to improve their personal best times!
