HJHS! Check this Out! Scientists Hard at Work! Ms. Baloo's 7th grade science classes are meeting state standards for identifying and understanding the components of a compound microscope through virtual/digital microscope use. The students are using these microscopes just a scientists do when they are examining cells and/other micro-organisms. Great Work from our 7th Grade Scientists!

At HJHS we hope your conference time is an opportunity to get to learn more about your child's progress personally, academically, socially and successfully as well as us getting to know more about your child through you. Conference Day-Tomorrow, Sept. 8th ~Parent-Teacher Conferences: 1:00-4:30pm & 5:30-7:30pm ~Students Early Release: 12:00pm (Lunch will be Served Before Release) ~The Junior Roost will be open for parents to visit, see what the new snack bar is all about and even be able to add money to your child's account. Reminders: Park PT conferences are today, September 6th Hulet PT conferences at tomorrow, September 7th Park, Hulet, HJHS and HHS will host conferences on Thursday (1 pm - 4:30 pm and HHS and HJHS from 5:30 - 7:30 pm). IWES will have conferences in October. Friday, September 16th there will be no school. This was a day built into the HUSD #3 calendar this year! Have a great week Roadrunners!

Parents are welcome to meet with any of their child's teachers upon request. Your P.A.S.S. Class Teacher will be happy to help set that up. HJHS! FOOTBALL & SOFTBALL Games CANCELLED! We just received word from the Winslow Athletic Director that they need to cancel the softball and football games against HJHS for tomorrow, Tuesday, August 30th. We know this is a disappointment for our players. We will work to reschedule if possible. Players will have practice.

HJHS! Help HJHS be the best it can be by joining us for Site Council. Our first monthly meeting will be held on Monday, August 29th at 4:00pm in the school library.

HJHS! Just a reminder: There is NO 8th Grade Football Practice today as Coach Begay is out.

HJHS! Due to this afternoon's chances of rain and potential inclement weather, today's running club will be cancelled. Runners will go home after school. Thank you for your understanding as we do our best to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

HJHS! Today's 8th Grade Softball Game has been changed to an AWAY GAME. The players will travel to Showlow to play at 4:00pm. Our players are showing their 100% Roadrunner Spirit and are excited to travel for today's game. GO ROADRUNNERS!

HJHS! Check it out! HJHS Robotics Club kicked off this week! We have 29 students already participating! These students are 100% Roadrunner and we can’t wait to see what they create this year! Any Interested students should reach out to Ms. Baloo or Ms. Jimenez to learn more about this amazing after school club!

Greetings Roadrunners! Fall sports are underway! We are excited to see our Roadrunner athletes in action! As we begin our sports season it is important to be reminded of the Roadrunner Pride that we display as Roadrunner fans! Please practice Roadrunner sportsmanship, please ensure your children are under your supervision when attending events and cheer loud for all Roadrunners! Holbrook vs Ganado- 7 pm at Roadrunner Stadium on Thursday, August 25th! Good luck to all our student-athletes and thank you for being great Roadrunner fans! Don't forget to pick up your season pass for all sports this year!
