The HUSD #3 Indian Education Program and HUSD #3 Parental Involvement Program led by Bernice Gover and Heather Manygoats, in coordination with the Heart of America organization, are bringing solar power to our families on the Navajo Nation! HUSD 3 staff including Heather, Bernice and HJHS Principal Connie Gover are working with Heart of America staff to install solar for families that applied and qualified for the solar panels to be installed in their homes! Amazing Roadrunners, doing amazing things for amazing Roadrunner families! Thank you Heart of America!! Thanks for Helping our Unique Students Develop!

Drum Corps International is in Holbrook using the HUSD #3 facilities in preparation for their next performance in Albuquerque. There will be a practice performance TONIGHT between 6:30 -8:00 if community members would like to see the Drums Corp in action. They would love an audience. This is just a practice but you will get the idea of a real performance. There are approximately 150 band members getting prepared today! Come out to Roadrunner Stadium and take a peak!

Please park in the GGPAC parking lot and walk to Roadrunner Stadium as the Drum Corps are using the stadium parking lot!

HUSD #3 enrollment is now open for SY 25-26.

REGISTRATION SCHEDULE:

IN- PERSON ENROLLMENT BEGINS WEDNESDAY, JULY 9th at 8:00 am at each school!

** Remember to have your proof of residency ready to upload (picture).

NEW STUDENTS

New students will need to bring:

* 3 forms of proof of residency (bills with address, photo ID, driver's license, etc.).

* Individual Education Plans (IEPs) from former school.

* Certificate of Indian Blood is required for Native American students to receive tribal benefits.

* Updated and current immunization records.

* Withdraw form from previous school, transcript, or last repot card

Appointments for registration may be made if requested. Please contact your child’s school.

Navajo Nation Oak Ridge Fire Donation Drive! Local residents of Indian Wells are collecting donations for those impacted by the Oak Ridge fire near Window Rock. Collections will be taken at Indian Wells Elementary up to noon on Friday and then all donations will be delivered to the donation center. Please help if you can!

Join us for our first Indian Education parent meeting of the 2025–2026 school year on Monday, July 7 at 5:00 PM at the HUSD #3 District Office (1000 N. 8th Ave, Holbrook, AZ). We’ll review the Indian Education Plan (including the budget), gather input on family events, parent engagement, and cultural activities, and introduce our monthly College & Career Readiness topic. HUSD #3's First Ever KinderCamp! Congratulations to our first class of KinderCamp students. HUSD #3 in coordination with the United Way of Northern Arizona hosted a KinderCamp for incoming Kindergarten students to learn the new ways of their formal public education future! The kids were awesome and each of them "graduated" from KinderCamp today! Thank you to the United Way, Mrs. Tow, Peggy Reid, Meghan Newton-Pender, Pat Freeland & all parents for getting this early childhood program started at HUSD #3. Looking forward to these young Roadrunners being the future of HUSD #3!

Roadrunners Never Stop Learning! Eight Holbrook High School students were selected based on an essay they wrote, for a trip to Washington, D.C. this week by Civics Matters! These Roadrunners will have the opportunity to fly in the Arizona Cardinal's team plane and spend four days in Washington ,D.C. learning about the foundations of our country! What a great honor and opportunity for these Roadrunners! Thank you Governor Hobbs, Mr. Bidwell and the Arizona Cardinals, Civics Matters Arizona and HHS for an experience of a lifetime!
