Congratulations to the 2023 Holbrook High School Chief Manuelito Scholars: Mareevah Belin, Natalie Blackrock, Noah Brown, Emmalynn Hunzeker, and Loren Thomas! The Chief Manuelito Scholarship is a highly competitive scholarship for high school seniors. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA along with completing Navajo Language and Navajo Government. It is a $7,000 scholarship that many students apply for but only a few meet the full criteria!. Holbrook High School had one of the highest numbers of scholarship recipients. Congrats to all recipients and thank you to our Indian Education program and Navajo Language teachers for Helping our Unique Students Develop!

This new feature will allow teachers, coaches and sponsors to communicate with groups of students, classes and individually with parents about school-related items. HJHS staff continue to grow HJHS into an AVID school! The AVID Center visited HJHS at their team meeting at the AVID conference to recognize the good work HJHS has done in just three short years implementing AVID! Congrats HJHS and thanks for stretching and learning during your summer break!!!
