We are excited to announce that the HUSD #3 Governing Board has officially selected three finalists to move forward in our Superintendent selection process. These individuals bring unique experiences, excitement about HUSD #3 and aspirations to help HUSD #3 become the district we are capable of becoming!
Meet the Finalists
Eric Evans: Current Superintendent at Williams Unified School District.
Matt Schriver: Current Superintendent at Trenton (Eight Mile) Public School District in Trenton, North Dakota.
Michael Gard: Current Transportation Director at Phoenix Union High School District.
Selection Process & Important Dates
The finalists will participate in an intensive evaluation process over the coming weeks:
Thursday, January 15th: Candidates will undergo a screening process with select district leadership team members.
Friday, January 23rd: Candidates will be on-site at HUSD #3 for:
Governing Board Interviews in the morning.
Staff Forum beginning at 1 pm at the George Gardner Performing Arts Center- all HUSD #3 staff are invited but not required to attend.
Public Forum beginning at 4 pm at the District Office- all community members are invited.
We are incredibly excited to continue building upon the success of HUSD #3. Together, we will ensure we fulfill our mission to Help our Unique Students Develop.
